Sarah Yaffe

Sarah is a Director at MASS LBP in Toronto, Canada, where she leads deliberative and strategic initiatives that empower people to meaningfully shape the policies that impact their lives. She has directed numerous citizens' assemblies and public engagement processes, crafting inclusive strategies for clients across diverse sectors including health care, arts and culture, disability rights, urban development, and education.

As co-lead of MASS’s Design and Coaching program, Sarah supports clients across North America in developing and delivering their own citizens’ assemblies. A sought-after speaker, she has presented globally on the value of deliberative democracy and the evolution of inclusion practices in citizen engagement. Sarah also leads In Good Company, MASS’s training arm, which equips public and private sector teams with the skills to foster stronger connections, better conversations, and the fundamentals of “everyday democracy.”

A dedicated intersectional feminist, Sarah serves as President of the Board for YWCA Toronto, advocating for gender equity and social justice.
