Colleen O’Manique is a professor of International Development Studies and Gender and Social Justice studies, at Trent University, in Peterborough, Ontario, where she teaches courses on feminist political economy and ecology, gender justice, health, and global health policy and governance. She has written and co-authored many publications on critical feminist perspectives on global HIV/AIDS policy, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and global health security. She is the author of the book Neoliberalism and AIDS Crisis in Sub-Saharan Africa: Globalization’s Pandemic, and her most recent co-edited book (with Pieter P. Fourie) is Global Health & Security: Critical Feminist Perspectives.
