In an era of growing polarization, we must interrogate existing paradigms and old preconceptions in order to deliver lasting change. DemocracyXChange 2025 (#DXC25) will challenge participants’ assumptions about how democracy can best serve us all—and will facilitate the creation of actionable solutions for a stronger, more resilient future.
Join renowned leaders, policymakers, community organizers, students, artists and innovators for interactive workshops, expert panels and keynote addresses that tackle the pressing issues of today; from integrity of information and artificial intelligence, to trust in governance and social and economic inequality.
Co-produced by OCAD University, Open Democracy Project and the Dais at TMU, the 6th edition of Canada’s premier democracy summit will take place in Toronto from April 3–5, 2025.

Attend the Opening Night of DemocracyXChange on Thursday April 3, from 6–10pm at OCAD University Waterfront (130 Queens Quay East, East Tower, Floor 4R). Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is mandatory for attendees without a DXC25 General Admission ticket. DXC25 General Admission ticketholders will be given priority access.
