Teaching Law as a System with the Access to Justice Game
Friday, October 16 at 3:00 – 3:30pm
Law is about cases, legislation, and courts, but it’s also about systems and the people who work within them. Using the Access to Justice simulation game, OJEN helps young people take a systemic view of our legal and civic processes, to learn both how to navigate the system for themselves and how to engage with its challenges. Please join us for a short conversation about teaching law in 2020 and a guided look at the Access to Justice Game, available free at http://ojen.ca/accesstojusticegame.
We run public legal education programs for youth and support high school teachers in incorporating law into their classrooms, especially in Law and Civics courses.
