Festival Session:
Faith as a Vehicle for Dialogue: A View from the Community
Friday, October 16 at 11:00am – 12:30pm
This session will be a dynamic roundtable dialogue with representatives of national religious groups, who will answer questions about role of religion in fostering democratic participation, the concepts and principles they bring to public discourse, what issues they want to see discussed in public policy, and the role that an All-Party Interfaith Caucus could play in diminishing polarization and deepening democracy.
The Canadian Interfaith Conversation gathers representatives of 41 faith communities and faith-based organizations who believe that people of faith can contribute positively to the benefit of all people in Canadian society.
